Building a mindful community through children’s well-being.
About Me
My name is Andrea and I have been practicing yoga for over 7 years. Following the birth of my daughter, I decided to get certified as a yoga teacher for both adults and children. My aspiration was to introduce both physical activity and mindfulness into her life.
The results have exceeded my expectations. Our journey together has encompassed a wide spectrum of invaluable lessons, from learning breathing techniques, to practicing mindfulness, all interwoven with yoga postures and playful activities. Through these experiences, our bond has grown immeasurably, and I have had the privilege of nurturing her holistic well-being on multiple levels.
Inspired by this transformative journey, I embarked on a mission to empower other children with the gifts of yoga, meditation, conscious breathing, and the wisdom of leading a mindful life.
I invite you to join me on this enlightening journey as we build a mindful community committed to fostering the well-being of our children.

FAQs & Important Information
IS YOGA A RELIGION OR A RELIGIOUS PRACTICE?
Yoga is not affiliated with any particular religion. When yoga is introduced in class, it involves learning controlled breathing techniques to foster concentration and serenity, as well as engaging in stretching exercises. I always ensure to use language that is child-friendly when guiding my students in these practices. To ensure inclusivity, we avoid using religious terminology to describe our group activities.
WHAT IS MEDITATION AND WHY SHOULD MY CHILD TRY IT?
Meditation is the practice of controlled breathing while achieving mental clarity. It can be practiced while sitting, lying down, or as a component of yoga. Our breath serves as the essence of our existence, and re-establishing a connection with it can profoundly nourish our inner self. The process of decluttering our thoughts is a method to manage and reduce stress.
my child can’t sit still, how can he/she possibly do yoga?
To keep a children engaged we make sessions short and playful. We incorporate props, explore different poses and advice parents to join in as well. We adapt the practice to each child’s needs and interest. The goal is to promote relaxation, body awareness, and mindfulness rather than perfect stillness, and over time they will develop better focus and calmness.
